The Mac News Network has one of the most comprehensive Mac-only news services on the net. Updated at least twice daily, these guys really stay on top of the Mac world, posting perhaps the largest volume of news of any of the Mac news sites. One drawback is the abundant amount of typos and grammar errors, but they seem to be improving recently.
Mac's Diner
http://www.macsdiner.com/
One of the most unique sites you'll find, the Diner serves up their selection of the best shareware, freeware and commercial software and hardware deals and specials, along with weekly reviews. New to the site is "Mac News Now", a user-submitted news page updated in real time (you need a password to post items in real time).
PriceSCAN
http://www.pricescan.com/
There are several computer price comparison guides available on the net, but we think this one stands out as the easiest and most fun to use. Once you select the basic category, popup menus are used to zero in on the specific item you're looking for. You're then presented with a list of products that fit your criteria, and you just select the one you're interested in, and you get a listing of vendors that offer the product, sorted by price. New is a price trend graph showing high, low, and average prices over the past few months on your selected product. Great service!

This month's theme: Free Reading Material
We at Apple Wizards know that our readership is very smart and classy. Like all smart and classy people, I bet you enjoy reading. Some of you, though, are students like myself and can't afford books or even that dollar for the library card. To help you out, here are some suggestions for free reading material that is available on this vast and wondrous resource we call the web.
An Impressive Amount of Works by Shakespeare
http://the-tech.mit.edu/Shakespeare/
Why in the world should you have to buy Shakespeare's books if the wonderful people at MIT are going to put them all on the web? The volumes of our favorite spear shaker's work will provide countless hours of free reading and study. I'll give you a tip. One time I had to include about twenty lines of Julius Caesar in a report. While all the other shmucks typed it out, I simply copied and pasted. Heh, heh, heh.
The Irish Times
http://www.ireland.com/
A lot of people like to read the daily paper but can't afford that twelve dollars a month. I'm sure a lot of Irish people would like to read the daily Dublin paper but can't afford to have it shipped. This is a quality paper that often has articles on U2.
Going to this page is sure a heckuva lot easier than writing your own Turkish poetry. There are also English translations for those of you who can't speak Turkish.
The number one best-seller in all of history is now available on the web absolutely free. This page includes a wide range of English versions and translations into other languages. It also features a word search system to enable you to check what the Bible says on a certain subject. This page is for everybody who wants to read the Bible.
